We meet up at the reception for an introduction to Sweden’s wildlife as well as practical guidelines on how to act to increase our chances to see these animals in the wild. We will then enter our rubber boat and cruise across a lake in silence using an electric motor. We will soon make a stop at Färna´s smallest island where sit down by a fire for something to eat. We typically have thin slices of smoked meat wrapped up in a flat bread together with organic vegetables. There is also juice and locally crafted Ferna Forge beer. There will be organic coffee and tea as well as some sweet cookies.
We then spend the evening silently cruising up and down a narrow stream where beavers and other wildlife can be seen. Our guides are experienced and professional naturalist guides. We return to Färna after dark.
